Vic Firth, the world’s leading drum stick manufacturing company, has recognised international drummer and teacher Paul Hose for his outstanding contribution to teaching. Paul was presented with the distinguished award by Neil Larrivee, Head Of Education, Vic Firth during the 2008 Musik Messe in Frankfurt.
The award follows Paul's tireless efforts in launching the revolutionary music education system musiclearningcurve.com which provides a new and exciting method for teaching a wide variety of musical instruments including drums, bass and guitar. This is backed up by the real-life Music Learning Curve Academies of which the first was opened in Nottingham, UK in 2007.
On receiving the award, Paul commented “I am thrilled to receive such a prestigious award from Vic Firth, after a tremendous amount of effort in launching Music Learning Curve it is an honour to be recognised.”
